Lehigh Valley Birth Photographer- The birth of Benjamin

August 4th, 2020.

I was hired to document Meghans birth story and I was so excited to be able to do this! Unfortunately due to Covid hospital restrictions I was unable to be in the hospital with them. The plan was to document labor at home before they headed to the hospital.
On August 3rd I got the message that Meghans water broke and she was suppose to be at the hospital in 2 hours. I immediately headed over to their house to document their last times as a family of 3 and followed them over to their hospital and sent them with my backup camera.
When it was time to discharge from the hospital I was on stand by to meet them before going home and getting all those special first moments as a family of 4 documented and big brother meeting little brother.

While I love birth photography so much unfortunately that wasn’t an option for us in this moment but we improvised and I still love the story these images tell.
