The Birth of Massimo

This was such a beautiful birth story to document. My first time at a birthing center and it was such a wonderful in between of a hospital birth and a home birth. This birth took place at Saint Peter's Mary V. O'Shea Birth Center.
I received the message that Vlada was in labor at 2 A.M on February 19th. I know that second babies don’t wait for anyone so I immediately got ready to head out the door. At 3 AM I was on my way to the birth center (before I even got the message that she was on her way, and boy am I glad I left when I did!)
As soon as I arrived I could tell she was SO close, just minutes later she began bearing down, even though just minutes prior she was only 6 cm. This little boy was ready to meet his parents!
