The birth of Paisley- St. Lukes Allentown birth photographer
The VBAC of Paisley at St. Lukes Allentown campus- Seasons of life OBGYN.
What an empowering, beautiful birth this was. At 10:36pm on June 11th Kayla let me know her water had broken. By 12:16 Am on June 12th contractions were 6 minutes apart and she was going to head into the hospital. I soon joined them and the birth story began!
Kayla was SO strong through hours of contractions 2-3 minutes apart, we walked the hallways of the hospital for hours. By 6 am my apple watch had said we already walked 6,000 steps. Stopping to breathe through contractions and sway her hips then right back to walking.
Kayla had so many different coping mechanisms, she uses a TENS unit, really enjoyed the shower, movement, and was so great breathing through the contractions.
At 5:12 pm she reached 10cm! WOO HOO. Began pushing at 5:18pm and baby Paisley was born at 7:05pm. She weighed 6 pounds 11oz and latched so perfectly for her momma who worked so hard to get her here.
